Degan, just wanted to pass along my compliments on your blog. It is one of the few local blogs I follow regularly and have visited many of your recommended restaurants in the lower mainland. Keep up the great foody stuff!

Enjoyed reading your very well written blog. You certainly have captured the Vancouver vibe. I've created a link to your blog from mine - the Toronto Ethnic Eats Challenge.
Cheers & Bon Appetit,
Annette

Hi Degan - cleaning out the wallet and come across your card. Fabulous site! It was great meeting a group of like minded foodies.
Have you had a chance to try out Toratatsu yet? I had high expectations and was a bit dissapointed but will give it another shot just for the drink specials. Seems like Izakayas are popping up all over...

Cheers,
Tom (Aly's friend)

Thanks Liane! I'm sorry to say that I don't know of any inexpensive Moroccan joints, but I'll keep my eye out for you. There used to be the Kasbah Cafe (affiliated with Le Marrakech) but it's sadly not around anymore.
Cheers~

Finally! I've been thinking about where to find a list of authentic ethnic foods in and around Vancouver - great blog!
That said - I'm still searching for some good Moroccan in the city and without having to shell out a week's savings to hit La Marrakesh or Sanafir downtown. If you know of any throw me a bone!

DAMN! I wish I lived in Vancouver! I was there once back in the dark ages (late 60s) but I was too young to know better. Denver has some good spots but nothing like what Vancouver has... guess I need to get myself on the road.
When I want to dream, I'll come over to your blog and swim....

This is now my go-to blog when I'm trying to figure out where to eat. My blog is mostly about food, but I never know where to go.

Good stuff!
