I’ve raved about Phnom Pehn in the past so I won’t review it again, but I couldn’t help sharing these photos from an incredible dinner recently:

tamarind crab

fresh scallops in their shells

squid in garlic and onions with peppercorns

butter beef

special beef salad

baby lotus root and a couple of other dishes I neglected to post…sausage, pea shoots, fried rice. Then for dessert:

coconut pudding

durian and a gelatinous rice pudding, in slices.

Thanks Mark for the invite and thanks especially to Solange who came in on her day off to make sure everything was just amazing.

I’ve been a fan of Phnom Penh for a while now. A lot of those dishes which you guys ordered I’ve actually never had before, so it was great seeing them. Thanks.
I’ve always wanted to go to Phnom Penh but was turned off by the large crowds waiting for tables. Do you know if they take reservations?
